Great Bible, the best quality I've ever seen, or used.

This Bible is the most sturdy bible i have ever used. It is made from lambskin, and a thicker than usual paper that still feels thin enough to fan through it. Also two silk book marker tassels built in. I have to say that David Hoffman(the gentleman that made the footnotes and reference numbers) seems to be very well versed in his defense of the pure scripture itself. Using scripture to back scripture. Read in its context, instead of content. And the fact that he backs up the original translation of the King James Bible without omitting certain verses to back "a mans idea". We should change our beliefs to match the book, not change the book to match our beliefs as most modern day scholars have done to pervert the words of the Bible. This is a great bible that has tons of information to help aid in study, especially for those hard to understand verses and passages. Great job David Hoffman, and thank God for his wisdom and teaching.

My Favorite Bible!

I love this Bible. I like the wide margins with plenty of room for notes and the really nice lamb-skin cover. I also use the blank pages in the front/back for longer notations. It has lots of really good references and some good notes on the bottom of the pages (although I don't necessarily agree with 100% of the notes, they do provide some good insights). The only down-side is the lack of a concordance, so I purchased a goat-skin Crudens Concordance that I carry along with the Bible, which gives me a much more thorough concordance than any included in any other Bible.
