A must have

This is a must have for any echo tech. It is concise and to the point without getting too technical. The "pocket" size makes it very portable and by no means cumbersome. Worth it's weight in gold.

Great Pocket Reference for Echocardiographers

this book was required for the Echo Program I began in 2012. It is an excellent reference for beginners as you can find values for quantifying regurgitation, and normal values for just about anything. It is smaller than most other pocket references, and has everything an Echo Tech needs to reference inside it's pages. A negative thing I found about this book is the fact that it isn't very durable, am I am a very neat, organized person. I was forced (and needed) to bring this everyday to Clinicals during my 9 months there, and it began to get beaten up pretty badly, ripping at the seam, and everything. Another negative is that some things are very hard to find, and not found in the index and one has to "search". Nevertheless for the price, it is a very good deal, and I would recommend it to any beginning or advanced Echocardiographer for reference or review. Actually, all of the Echocardiographers I knew had one of their own copies for reference at my old Clinical site. I am now a recent college grad and Echocardiographer, and I will be keeping this book to study for my boards, and also to my new job as a reference! ENJOY!

Great Reference!

This book may need a better cover, but it's by far the best reference book I have. All the information is clear and concise. I have many echocardiology books, but this is my go-to book for a quick reference check.
